A comprehensive 1 day hands on workshop for the purpose of testing portable appliances in the work place.

 

A 1 day course, starting at 8.30am and finishing at around 4.30pm, designed for staff managing, undertaking and recording, inspection and testing of electrical equipment.  The course will include practical exercises and discussions on problems encountered during test activities.

Who should attend?

 

This course is ideal for managers and administrators who are responsible for providing maintenance systems within the work place, as well as maintenance personnel and electricians who undertake the testing.

 

Prerequisites

 

Participants are advised to obtain a copy of the I.E.E. Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment and are advised to bring a copy with them.

 

What’s included?

 

A comprehensive set of course notes are provided for future reference and a certificate* is issued to each delegate (this is supplied within 28 days of completion).  A variety of PAT testers and faulty equipment will be available (you are welcome to bring any equipment of your own).   Lunch and refreshments are also included.

 

 
 

 

 


* In the unlikely event of a delegate failing the course, they are welcome to attend another suitable venue free of charge.
